To the about 12.000 localities already listed in the official 1885 register another 4000 place names were added, including Christian denominations as well as whatever Jewish communities existed. A general map showing all the juridical districts as well as the present political entity localities are assigned to, will greatly facilitate discovery.
Also included is a CD ROM, containing 121 individual maps in a 1:75.000 scale and a 120 dpi resolution, which can be utilized by anyone with a "Windows" program in their computer.
For technical reasons the Polish and Ukrainian accents had to be omitted.
